Opposite sides / Cat and Dog

Opposite sides
Bosco our dog and Grason one of our cats spar with each other all the time. Grason is a bit of a Pirate and is sneaky. He will sneak up on the dog and attack when Bosco is doing important “dog Things” and his attention is on something else. The dog tries to retaliate and the chase is on. Grayson easily keeps out of the dogs reach. One of the cat’s tricks is to suddenly stop and turn on the dog. The dog never sees this coming and Bosco stops short and Grason pats him on his nose with his no claw front feet, like a boxer on a practice bag. Then he is off and out of reach. This leaves the dog confounded.

Another trick Grason uses is to run into the cat room where the Dog knows he cannot go and then just sit out of reach. This causes the dog to cry and whimper.

Bosco gets him by snooting Grayson when the cat is sleeping, or not letting Grason drink from the water dish. Another way is trapping Grason in the bathroom or on the porch or in the litter box and not letting him out.

We did the Cat Flea eradication thing today and the dog watched joyously as we did Grason. I think Grason would have enjoyed seeing Bosco get his, but Gason went into hiding after he got his. 8-)

The both must enjoy it, because they do not hurt each other. They just mess with each other.
They will often share the same area, but most of the time they are on opposite sides.
The cat wants the high ground!
