Cat Overboard...Cat Emergency
Cats have great sea legs but if they do fall in to the water
they can be dangerous to rescue. You can be shredded trying to get them out of
the water.
A large towel can make a great boarding ladder for a cat.
They can latch onto it and the cat can be pulled on board with him clinging to
the towel. If you are at a dock or mooring an old carpet piece hanging over the
side or stern or a towel can give a way to get back on board.
Once the cat is back on board let it calm down a bit before
you comfort it. They can be upset for a long time and still be dangerous. 8-)
